The Clean Scene WA
General Agreements
By booking a service with The Clean Scene WA, the Client agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by The Clean Scene WA.
Booking & Quotes
Estimates
Quotes provided over the phone or email are estimates based on standard room sizes and "average" soil levels. We reserve the right to amend the quote upon arrival if the property condition differs significantly from the description provided.
Access
The Client must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. If our team cannot gain entry, a Cancellation/Lock-out Fee (see Section 4) may apply.
Utilities
The Client must ensure that electricity and running water are available. If utilities are disconnected, we may be unable to complete the service, and the full booking fee will still apply.
Bond Return Guarantee (Vacate Cleans)
Scope
Our Bond-Back Guarantee applies only to the cleaning components of your property manager’s report.
Rectification
If a Property Manager identifies cleaning issues, The Clean Scene WA must be notified within 48 hours of the clean. We will return to rectify the specific issues free of charge.
Exclusions
We do not guarantee bond returns for issues outside of cleaning (e.g., permanent carpet stains, wall damage, structural repairs, or garden maintenance).
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change, but we require notice to manage our team’s schedule:
- More than 24 hours notice: No fee.
- Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of $50 or 20% of the quote (whichever is greater) may be charged.
- Same-day cancellation/Lock-out: The full service fee may be charged if our team is already on-site or en route.
Payment Terms
Residential/Vacate
Payment is due on or before the day of service via Bank Transfer or Credit Card (unless otherwise agreed).
Commercial/NDIS
Invoices are issued with a 7-day or 14-day term as per the specific Service Agreement.
Late Fees
Overdue accounts may incur a late payment fee if not settled within 7 days of the due date.
Health & Safety (WA Standards)
Biohazards
Our team is not equipped to clean biohazards (e.g., mold remediation, animal waste, or needles). We reserve the right to refuse service if a property poses a health risk.
Heavy Lifting
For the safety of our staff, we do not move heavy furniture (over 15kg). If you want us to clean behind a fridge or sofa, please have it moved prior to our arrival.
Equipment
We provide professional-grade supplies. If the Client requests we use their own equipment (e.g., a specific vacuum), we are not liable for any damage caused to or by that equipment.
Satisfaction & Liability
24-Hour Warranty
We take pride in our work. If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 24 hours. We will return to rectify the area at no cost. We do not offer cash refunds.
Breakage/Damage
While we take extreme care, accidents can happen. The Clean Scene WA is fully insured. Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours and accompanied by photos.
Wear and Tear
We are not liable for damage resulting from "normal wear and tear," such as old grout crumbling during a scrub or blinds snapping due to sun brittleness.
Privacy & Data
We respect your privacy. All client details are stored securely and used only for service-related communication. We will never sell your data to third parties.
